Return of the Robin champions

One of the most popular and oldest amateur hockey tournaments in the state, the Return of the Robin in Rochester took place on April 4-6. In their second year as tournament directors, Brett Landon, Jay Sather and Jim McPeak expanded the 27th annual event by adding a women’s division to take the tournament t a record high of 44 teams. The player skill sets range from ex-pros and D` college skaters to C-Level amateur skaters. Currently there are eight divisions with 80-plus teams on the waiting list. Organizers are looking at expanding the tourney to 55 teams in 2009. Champions of the 2008 Return of the Robin were:

Open Division 1:
