The terms VENDOR and SPONSOR may be confusing to some. At the risk of
making the terms more confusing we will try to define how the Return Of
The Robin defines them.
SPONSOR
A Sponsor is typically a company or person that wants to advertise it's
band name by placing it's logo or company phrase on banners and key
spots at the Return Of The Robin events, advertisements, web site, etc.
where many people will see it and recognize it. For sample sponsor

Becoming a sponsor of the Return Of The Robin is an excellent way to
reach a pre-qualified audience of sports lovers. Not just player and not
just hockey fans, but sports minded people from all over the immediate area and some from as far away as Canada, and the Dakotas. In
2009 over 10,000 people attended the Return Of The Robin Hockey
Tournament over the three day event. As you know, product recognition is what it is
all about. The more people see
and hear your company band, the more likely they are to buy from you.
This is an opportunity to target market your products to a large set of
sports players and fans.
There are various levels of sponsorship available. This link will show a
chart of the current levels and sponsors of the Return Of The Robin
Events. SPONSORSHIP

VENDOR
At Return Of The Robin event the term VENDOR is used to describe a
company, group or single individual that has a product or service to
sell. A VENDOR typically (not always) requires the use of a booth or
floor space to operate from. This could be someone selling food, a
clothing or equipment manufacturer, skate sharpening, equipment
cleaning, etc.
